And today it’s time for the fishing calendar for September 2022.
September is a mixed month. Of course, everything may depend on the region where you hunt your underwater prey. But what can be said for sure is that during the day in September it can be stuffy and hot, and cool at night, and in some regions even sometimes the first frosts. But it doesn’t scare us. My opinion is that in September the coolest thing to fish is in cloudy calm weather, especially when it gets warmer after a sharp cold snap. But still, I basically trust my fishing calendar included in my fishing almanac.
In autumn, predatory fish are more active, as they need to accumulate energy for the winter. This means that the bite on worms, maggot, bark beetle and bloodworms increases.
If September is rainy and cold, then even my fishing almanac for September 2022 will not save the bite. And all the best fishing days in September may not work. The fish just behaves very sluggishly, moves a little. It’s like going into hibernation. Also begins the autumn glutton of pike and catfish.
